Women may fear pain
Medical, social and economical conditions

Studies have shown that sexual dysfunction is highest in women with bad health, small income and a history of infrequent sexual interest. It is also more common among women with poor emotional health.

Performance anxiety

Women may fear pain during sex because of vaginal dryness or other changes in the vagina. This fear can diminish lubrication causing further pain.

Women may also develop anxiety if they are not satisfied by a sexual experience or feel they have not satisfied their partner.

Medical conditions

A multitude of medical conditions in midlife can affect a woman's sexual desire and responsiveness causing female sexual dysfunction.

Both prescription and non-prescription can alter sexual desire, arousal and orgasm in female. Birth control pills, patches and rings, as well as oral hormone replacement therapy can affect testosterone levels in a woman and diminish sexual desire.

Simple steps to help women with female sexual dysfunction
Increase stimulation and eliminate routine

If it is difficult to get a female sexually stimulated, persuade them to use erotic tools, ask them to communicate during sexual activity; be innovative, don’t make sexual activity a routine. Masturbate to find their pleasure spots, and lastly but most importantly, make sure there are no worries and doubts in her mind during sexual activity.

Go for non-sexual behaviours

Recommend sensual massage with no involvement of sexual areas, women love being caressed in their neck, hair, etc, and some women may desire oral stimulation too.

Female sexual dysfunction can be caused by many physical as well as emotional causes, but fighting it off can be simpler than you imagine!.
